Great quality and value but heavy to handle
At the price of ~$1000, this is a great lens. I upgraded from a Canon 75-300 mm kit lens to this for bird photography. The difference in image quality is staggering. Firstly, you can get extremely close to wildlife. I have been getting clear and sharp images thanks to the optical stabilization. I'm able to go down to 1/200th of a second at 600 mm without having to worry about blurriness. There is minimal fringing even at 600 mm. The autofocus is quick but it does struggle in low light.
The biggest downside with this lens is it's weight. It is not easy to point and shoot for extended periods. Manual focus handheld is a rather difficult task. A monopod or tripod is a good accessory to have.
The seller sent a piece that was as advertised. Minor nicks and scratches on the body but no damage on the optical elements themselves and the electronics work well.

Excellent lens for a great price.
Great picture quality. The lens is exceptionally sharp with minimal to no chromatic aberration at all zoom ranges. Its autofocus is fast, accurate, and nearly silent. Most importantly, it is light enough to carry around without strain. It is ideal for bird photography, especially if you have a 1.4x or 2x teleconverter.
It was well-priced for being in nearly mint condition. There are minor scratches on the outside and dust on the lens, but the electronics and optics work really well.

Excellent lens. No optical or electronic...
Excellent lens. No optical or electronic defects. Autofocus works fast, even with the RF-EF adapter on my Canon R7.
