Accuracy marginal
2 of 2 found this helpful Device was shipped quickly. Testing under several humidity levels showed device is well outside its claimed accuracy. Used a mid-range laboratory grade instrument as reference. That said, it is good enough for my purpose of indicating loss of seal in a desiccated container. For the price it is excellent value for the right application.

Best deal for happy Harry homeowner
This has been an excellent deal for me. The metal crimping tool has worked flawlessly. The yellow plastic cable sheathing stripper + punch tool worked fine. The cable tester made basic continuity / correct pin wiring debugging / testing a snap. I have not used the supplied pack of 50 RJ-45 connectors.
A few minor issues, none of which got in the way of getting my job done.
1. Punch tool does not trim wires, so I used diagonal wire cutters to trim jack wire.
2. Supplied my own 9v battery.
3. Instructions for cable tester are obtuse/useless. I used the S (= slow) setting. Worked like a charm. Simply watch the lights cycle. Any light stays dark - ooops - my bad connection. Any light out of order - ooops - my bad reading the wire colors vs T586A vs T568B.
4. Leatherette pouch for the cable tester smelled so bad, I ditched it.
Judging function for the money, this was an outstanding purchase. For occasional use at my home, it should last me until 8pin RJ-45 cabling has become obsolete.

Decent for the price
Compared to calibrated meters, this meter works well with exception of humidity which is very inaccurate. I'd purchased several years ago, but the review seems to have vanished. A few days ago checked the "dB" setting against a calibrated sound pressure meter and the Cen-Tech (ala Mas-Tech) was within 1-2 dB with a fast setting and A weighting on my reference meter.
