2 Front Hood Auto Gas Springs Lift Supports Dampers For Mercedes Benz W203 C230

Mercedes hood supports

I ordered these hood supports because of the price. They are all made in China so why pay more if you don't have to. When I opened the box and pulled them out they looked exactly like the ones on the hood. There were no directions but just expand the clips and out they came. The end pieces were to small to fit the ball on the hood. I unscrewed the end piece and tried to use the ones from the old supports. The threads were different and were to big. Take a drill and pick a bit that is 1 size smaller than the threads on the ends of the supports. One end will screw into the bottom of the sleeve and the other one, once drilled out will rethread onto the other end. The inside is only plastic so be careful not to drill to fast and to far. Once the end was on I installed them on the car and they worked fine.

2010 yz450 hi flow air filter

I was looking for a hi flow air filter to replace my current filter that the foam separated on. I had that filter for 7 years. Didn’t want to buy a new cage and filter. Very expensive! When I got this filter it seemed that it was made fairly well. Put it over the cage to see how it fit and the bottom is not wide enough. I had only 1/4” of overlap. All the way around. Spent the money on a dt1 filter and cage. Quality and the correct fit!
