Decades later after my first reading, a memorable book
While a lot of this book is frankly, weird, other parts are memorable even though I first read the book well over 50 years ago. Particularly his short antidotes that are sprinkled throughout the book from his own funny and bizarre experiences. I laugh about them, even recite them to friends if I think of them and how they match everyone's experience - while most people including myself, would not have given it a second thought at the time, or later.
Cage turned music into theatre, perhaps vice/versa.

Weird Look, but very good sound and lots of nice features
1 of 1 found this helpful I'm not into the Boom-Box design with the flashing lights etc., but that said, this is a very good sounding unit. I like the remote control (I wish it had a mute button, which is missing), but I liked it enough that I bought 2 of them. One for my office and one for home. It has bluetooth that work's well, a decent CD player, AM/FM that I wish had better reception but is OK. It also has an aux audio input available. If you like heavy BASS, there's a button for that and other EQ preset - settings. Runs on AC or battery. I've only used the AC so I don't know how long it will run on Batteries. I think it uses about 6 D cells so that will make it even heavier than it already is! Probably OK if you need to go to the beach or back yard. Besides the ridiculous look, it's terrific!
