So far, this handvac kicks serious ass.
I've used it on kitchen floors and countertops mostly, but accidentally dropped a lightbulb the other day where it shattered into a thousand pieces -- rather than sweep it up with a hand broom and dustpan, I simply vacuumed it all up. Safer and quicker. I hope the battery on this will last better than the previous model I got -- but so far, love this.

Should the device be making ominous motor noise at the '10' setting?
1 of 1 found this helpful Device works fine, although the air output is not what I had been led to believe it was. I'd call it moderate but not strong -- it will not beat out any 14" and above fan air speed. I am still pleased with it: the tilting function, the having 2 device functions in 1 function, the quick way it shifts gears, the magnetic holder on top for the remote and the narrow/wide function.
I am somewhat alarmed by the ominous hum the motor generates when you turn it up to full speed. '9' the sound is not present; '10' you can most definitely hear a loud hum. I'm pretty sure that shouldn't be there. Care to comment, refurbishers??
If you've got the space for separate space heater and a fan, I'd mildly-moderately say to go that route. It does save some space, looks chic/modern, and does an "ok" job with output. Everything else about it is excellent.

Banged up box? Who cares. Great ink product.
So much better than those discount companies that refill ink cartridges and 50% of them barely work at all upon opening.
