Make do when the parts aren't available

Though I thought it would fit my G body El Camino, it did not. The backside was much different. I modeled my OEM faceplate with birch plywood, cut out the appropriate holes. Stained it with cherry stain lightly twisting the applicator to mimic the factory burlwood design. Coated it with satin clear.

Keep more than one set

Keep them on

I will need to.machine the lip by 1/32" due to it being too wide. Better too big than too small. A hint in center caps. Line the lip with electrical tape. It gives a good grip. I think on the cap I list, I didn't have it applied.
