Great product, great value, Chinglish instructions.
Great product! Carried lots of lumber with no sign of strain.
To install you just need:
- phillips screwdriver
- scissors
- An English translation of some Chinglish terms:
- "Black card" should read "black rail-clamp".
- "Inserted the sealing rubber strip roof rack inside the tank" should read "Cut the rubber sealing strips to needed lengths with scissors, and insert them into the track." (See tip #1 below.)
- "Insert the card foot roof water chute" should read "Put rail-clamp in, as shown."
- "Adjust the card right foot width" should read "Adjust width of each rail-clamp."
- Tips:
(1) Practice installing without the rubber sealing strip, just to check the gaps the strip will need to fill, then cut the strips and repeat the install. You probably want to fill the side gaps and not just the middle gap, so that's three segments to cut per crossbar. Be aware the front and rear crossbars will have different gap lengths.
(2) After thus configuring you may want to write "front" and "rear" on the underside of your crossbars in permanent marker, if you plan on removing when not in use.
(3) As with any crossbars, loop your cargo straps around the roof rails themselves, not just the crossbars, for maximum security.
