Guitar builder/luthier since 1994. I love to create new life in vintage guitars by putting them back on the market in great playable condition. I sell them with the improvements for very little return financially.
This is a comedy based on the crazy times during the filming of the Wizard of Oz with an undercurrent of espionage. Chevy Chase and cast are great in this movie. Underrated for its time. Very enjoyable.
Cort L100CK Concert Acoustic Guitar Solid Spruce Top Koa back & sides
Aug 05, 2016
Aesthetically inspiring, a little weak where neck is concerned.
I am a guitar builder. I was attracted to this because of the superb Koa veneer work on the body, and I have owned a Cort guitar before. Cort does a nice job for an imported non hardwood guitar-good setup, finish, fair -good tone and playability. However, the neck width at the nut is just barely past 1 5/8 inches. At minimum, it should be a comfortable 1 11/16", which is the minimum American standard for guitars. Also, the head stock looks and feels like it was over milled in back and is a little too thin on first few frets- it could easily snap. Maybe a veneer glued to the back of it with a long ducktail would mostly correct it. I don't like to have to modify someone else's work just to have a good guitar, but I will put on a nut spaced wider and a ducktail veneer and hope for the best. Returning it would be an exercise, I suspect.
RARE Presto Heat Dish Plus Parabolic Electric Heater (See Pictures 7 and 8)

Presto parabolic dish heater works great.
I got mine used because I didn't know how much I would use it. It works great when the sun goes down and the patio is the place to be for that last hour! I recommend it to everyone. Some concern about the new prices, however.
