Williams 4-6-4 Northern Pacific Steam Hudson.
When I was going through all of the postings for o gauge locomotives i did not really know what to get or even look for. So I started looking at everything that looked good in pictures and seen many real nice locomotives. I was leaning towards a steam locomotive since steam help build the massive rail system across this great nation. I live in the Pacific Northwest and can remember seeing Northern Pacific and Great Northern railways on the rails here in Tacoma Washington when I was a child. My best friends dad also worked for Northern Pacific railways. Northern Pacific did have a large repair show in South Tacoma and used it even When It became Burlington Northern in 1970. So after going through many, many posts I did purchase the Northern Pacific 4-6-4 Hudson to honer the memory of my best friends dad since he is no longer with us. My best friend and his dad took me to my very first air show because they were both aviation nuts and went to several together. When I received the Hudson all I had for track was the origional Lionel round steal track. The front guide trucks would go right over the rounded steal rails So I finally was able to purchase The new Lionel fastrack. Runs great on this track. The posting said that 027 curves is the mimimum curve but the curve I got is 036 instead. I was going to get 031 but the train hobby stores never seamed to have 031 so 036 is what I got. Good choice for the small space I have. The next step is more track and any rolling stock that has Pacific in the name. Northern Pacific, Great Northern, Southern Pacific, and Western Pacific as well as other rolling stock I remember seeing on the rails here in Tacoma, Washington. Because My best friend and his dad got me hooked on aviation I want to say that my heart goes out to The U S Navy Blue Angels after the tragic loss of Marine Captain Jeff Cuss at the beggining of a practice show on 6/2/2016. Captain Jeff Cuss is a hero as his last selfless act save many on the ground. Thank you for your service and your sacrifice Captain Cuss. R.I.P. Scott Woods of Tacoma, Washington.

Two bay coal hopper. By Lionel in 1948.
Good shape for it`s age. Will need to replace trucks eventually.

Northern Pacific Tank Car
This tank car is an excellent addition to my N.P. collection. I am looking for any Northern Pacific rolling stock. I remember seeing Northern Pacific trains on the rails when I was a kid here in Tacoma, Washington. Every time I run My Lionel trains this is in the string of cars that I am pulling behind.
