Dry bleach works well
First a bit of background. I live where the water is from a private water system that does not have any chemicals added to the water. The water has a lot of minerals, so it is called 'hard water'. Because of the hard water more than usual amounts of soap and bleach are needed for a clean wash.
To achieve the same result as using the liquid bleach from the supermarket a little more than two times the recommended amount of this dry bleach is needed. If you live where there is soft water the amount of dry bleach needed will be less. Just follow the instructions.

When things need to measure up
Not a king, but still an excellent measurement maker. The different sizes are a handy thing to have around. There are places where the standard 12-inch ruler just is too long to fit into the space where a measurement is needed. The smaller sizes are just the thing that is needed. If you need metric measurements, use one of the metric rulers, just the thing in today's slow shift toward metric measurements.
The metal rulers are nice and thin where the more conventual wooden rulers are a bit on the thick side and often just do not fit where the thin metal one's work. The scales are of good contrast. The scales are too small for my poor eyesight. For people with average vision that should not pose a problem.
