This is my first experience with an actu...
This is my first experience with an actual Tube Driver (vs the TC Electronic Tube Pilot), and it's definitely helpful to have those EQ knobs. There is more noticeable hum from this unit, which could be due to age or power (the Tube Pilot is able to use an isolated , high-power output from my MXR Mini Iso-Block) but the grinding overdrive I was looking for is kind of unmatched. I'm happy with it. Looks great, too!

Checks all the boxes and then some.
There are many cheaper overdrives out there, but this is certainly a special one. The Sag knob really gives a flavor I've not experienced with other dirt pedals, but it can also do what you might expect with other low-gain overdrives if you're looking for great grit. The build quality is exceptional, and the case candy is a nice touch.
