Perfect For My Needs!
1 of 1 found this helpful I had been searching intensively for an electric kettle that didn't have plastic components inside it, and finally I found it! Not only is it completely stainless steel on the inside, it boils water quickly and even shuts off. If you pick up the kettle while it is still coming to a boil, it will automatically shut off, too. I also like that the electric component is separate from the kettle; in other words, the kettle rests on a hot plate that plugs into an electrical outlet. So there is no trailing cord to deal with when pouring. A great buy!

Safe and Accurate
5 of 5 found this helpful I used to own an old mercury thermometer. After it broke in the car, it was a real pain to clean up, not mention scary because we had to buy a special product to clean the whole interior of the car. I vowed not to use that kind of thermometer again, but didn't really trust my digital one to be accurate as it merely estimates. So when I found this one, I was overjoyed! It is not only accurate, it is lightweight and I don't have to fear dropping it and breaking it, nor having to clean up dangerous mercury if I do. Five stars!
