No Roller Brush for carpets/area rugs
Shark CV101 has good suction but difficult to use. I have large area rugs a few quite thin. The Shark suction is pretty intense wanting to lift the rugs oof of the floor. The larger heavy are rugs I find it difficult to move the vacuum back and forth, the hose seems to twist. I like the use of reaching in higher places and in corners using the attachments. Does take quite a but of room for storage, much more then an upright.

Simplify Cleaning
Excellent for a quick clean up. More convenient then a broom & dustpan & much easier then dragging out a vacuum. Excellent pick up on area rugs. Two large soft bristled roller brushes and 2 dirt empty trays. This bissell will last a lifetime.
