I am glad to be alive during the Mortal Kombat era.
This game is a good conclusion to Mortal Kombat. To make a long story short, Mortal Kombat has been around since 1992. Since then, it has grown into a powerful franchise, rivaling Capcom's Street Fighter in America. When I play this game now, it still keeps me hooked. All MK lovers would be hooked too......at the start. However, I, like many others, would feel a little bit robbed in the end. The hard work spent to unlock the secret crypt items seem wasted. The crypt items range from character art and.....movies of Mortal Kombat Cars? Neither of these things are necessary. I prefer extra objects in the create-a-fighter mode or even video endings. Of course the 60 plus characters are great and the game does combine elements from each MK game. The Konquest mode is the finest I have ever played - the best of the entire series. The number of battlegrounds are extensive - the most variety of any fighting game I have been around - and boy have I played a ton of them. The other features of the game, from Motor Kombat to the included Mortal Kombat 3 game, are so-so. Any questions? Anything I should elaborate on? Let me know. Digame.

Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children (2006, DVD)
Its a decent movie that came unexpectedly to me. Before watching it, I never expected a plot but once I saw the first 30 minutes, I realized that the characters can actually branch out and create more stories, without effecting the plot of any previous final fantasy concepts. Many of the characters I knew and love (some of which I hated) returned for cameo appearances. New characters (esp. villains) help make the plot move and really determine the outcome. I saw the entire movie and felt it was worth every penny. A great lesson is learned (I am not giving away anything here) and that is the icing on the cake for this movie. The numerous people who worked on this, regardless of if the many colorful visuals were done by computer, deserve credit. TONS OF IT. Great work.
