Always get a second opinion

Well first impressions were majorly disappointing .. high notes very good but bass response non-existent. Even tho I had read about a "burn-in" period for these I couldn't believe how cheap they sounded... so replaced the triple seals with foam ones and ... VOILA ... kept the highs but now delivered solid bass notes as well.. and with vastly improved sound isolation. A good ear seal is super critical with these if you like some bass. Overall I'm very happy with these now.
