Meg Foster as Hester Prinn - absolute perfection
I had been wanting to see this movie again since watching it in 1980 High School English class. I was riveted to the story, found the secret romance to Hester Prynne and her secret love well played. I was captivated by Meg Foster's eyes and could understand why people feared her, and she was lovely and kind so eventually the people truly liked her. The story has so many things going on, all tagging and pulling at one or more character at a time. It was also fantastic to once again see the Scarlet Letter played with decent actors who were able to bring the story to life and drag its audience in - unlike other remakes that came after... terrible. When I saw Meg Foster on The Originals TV show for a few episodes, it reminded me of my love for the scarlet letter so I ordered it. It arrived very quickly and in perfect condition. I am happy to have it in my collection.

It is functional. It's just very flimsy and poor quality. But it was cheap, so not a big deal if it doesn't last and last and last
