Solid product and good value for the price.
This mic is a good value for the price. I have used it a dozen times since I purchased and have made progress on converting from a regular vocal mic. You have to remember to mute the mic from the pack when you want to cough or talk between band members. If you don't position properly, you will hear yourself breathing over the P.A.! It has eliminated the problem of being tied to my mic stand attached to my keyboard rig. I can now sing while making equipment adjustments or walking out front to test speaker levels. If replacing another mic, you do have to readjust your mic channel to fit this mic as it it hot, and seems to boost the mids and cuts the highs a bit from my SM87 settings.

Love this compact stand!
On my 4th Apex stand since they first came out! I do one night gigs 200 nights a year and wouldn’t use anything else. The mic boom is better made than older models. Best price I have found for new model including bag and boom.
