insignia ns-str 514
1 of 1 found this helpful I have Sherwood rx-4109, sony str-dh130, and insignia ns-str 514. all of these are just about the same,output power, and sound. all three were open box, Sherwood and sony price about $85.00, the insignia $60.00. I really like all of them, all have remote control, easy to use remote goes to Sherwood,next the insignia, sony has too many buttons,could control spaceship, but it has best front panel controls, also sony seem to have best fm receiver . I guess for value the insignia would be your best bet, pays your nickel and take your chance. good luck emanuel

9537 control box
very easy to use, works very good and quiet. old box made as much noise as rotor. very pleased.

small heavyweight speakers
0 of 1 found this helpful they are very well built, and good value. they are too small for me to call them main speakers. I had two klh-l853b 3 way bookshelf speakers $70.00 a pair at best buy. I paired them with two bic rtr 1530 3 way with 15" woofer, walmart special buy at $59.88 each, bic are big 60 pounds each 39"hx17"w x11" deep. have a klh on top of bic. run a+b speakers from insignia ns-str514 receiver, ebay open box $60.00. little money, great sounding system. volume 20 bass +2, will blow you away. emanuel
