Like breathing fire!
This product is really handy. I've used mine for starting a firepit to sit around, making fire in deer camp, and making fire in a wood stove in my dad's cabin. Every single time it has worked very good. I can't see how a fire gets started without one, well, they just take a bit longer without. Being able to directly blow on a hot area to get oxygen in there is just a handy ability. Not having to stoop down so far, getting smoke in the face is a plus. Only drawbacks I can say are that it is a bit spendy when compared to other offerings online. Also, after use it will have some moisture in it that you're going to want to let dry off. Those are the only real cons that I can think of, but the benefit of this tool far outweighs them and makes them negligible. Buy it, you won't regret it. At least, I'd hope you wouldn't when you're breathing fires into life in record time!

Worthy Add-on
The bit extender and bit kit is a worthy add-on to your Leatherman tool that accepts the flat bits. It's handy to get more reach out of the tool and allows you to use the regular hexagonal-shaped bits that you encounter everyday. The bits come on slim, durable plastic paddles that fit well back-to-back in a sheath with a divided, elastic pouch inside. They are out of the way until the time you need them and you can get the bit out that you need. I've used them from replacing door knobs in my house to tightening rifle scope mount screws. Just about anything with a Phillips or standard screw, socket head bolt, Torx bolt, and eyeglass screws can be tightened or loosened with this kit. It's definitely a great buy even though it seems a "bit" expensive (pun intended). When you buy it, you'll know it was worth the money having it! If you don't think you need the flat bits and just want the extender, you can find it for around $15 or less and carry around regular hex bits if you like which may be a tad heavy and bulky.

Excellent fit and finish
My TISAS branded 1911 wouldn't lock back on cheaper mags that were no problem for another 1911. Switched their slide locks and it was fine. Looked on eBay and found this one. High quality machined part. I do slightly wish it was matte rather than a gloss but it's fine. My handgun is no show piece and as long as it functions proper, which it does, I'm fine with it.
