Wait to read this until I buy all I want!
I should tell everyone that this microphone sucks.... That way I can buy up as many as I want before telling everyone I was just kidding! Seriously though, these are some really nice mics for any Studio, whether professional or Home. I have been using the E-100 (4 of them) for years as my "go to" for Acoustic Guitar and percussion mics as well as drum overheads. They have a nice but neutral response with a ton of overhead to handle transients. I wanted to try the E200 because of the Multi pattern choices and it works superbly. These are now my "desert Island" mics of choice. If you need hype or color you need to look elsewhere, but for natural unhyped reproduction these are my favorite tool to use. I now have 2... and want a few more!

Hotone Diamond...got the MOJO or not?
Well... I finally broke down and bought one of these things for my studio to record some "Fender-ish" guitar parts at decent volumes. After all... I saw You Tube... those Videos don't lie...? Do they? Well lets just say.... it isn't as good as real Deluxe Reverb or the like, but it has some good uses. It does not react like a tube amp dynamically, but so many people squash the dynamics when recording, I did not see that as a real issue. If I were playing live with it I probably would not feel satisfied. I found the higher levels of distortion to have some very unpleasant fizzy and ringing artifacts that just would not do. Using a good ribbon mic in front of the different Cabinets helped... but it was still too horrid. The "Clean" sound... really, really workable. In the end I experimented using a Liquid Blues tube pedal and a Holy Grail reverb and I got some really nice tracks. It seems the MOJO came to life with good pedals, so my suggestion is to use this as a platform for your pedals. I have not tried recording straight off the unit yet...That is next.

Makes a great drums submixer for the studio
I needed something I could leave set up to accommodate recording drums and this fit the bill. I wanted to have 6 tracks dedicated to drums that I could leave committed and Project templates pre-made for songwriters. I had Neve Clones already in place for the kick, snare and overheads, but I never knew how many toms to prepare for. I bought this to be able to have up to 6 toms that I could mix down to 2 stereo tracks. This unit was very quiet and had plenty of clean gain to handle the task. It has high headroom that capture the sound of the toms with no impact to the transients or tonal body. It was a great choice for me.
