Ok for beginner....Go brushless or go home!
1 of 2 found this helpful The xte SUV is faster some how. If you buy a brushed one buy that one. I had this truck out for 8 minutes and was bored to tears. Hour later.....wham 3s lipo ready. Also, a couple other mods and now we're talking. - hope this helps. Ps redcat support is second to none.

Worked for a couple of seconds then burnt my hand
This is a terrible machine. At first it looks incredible...However, it is poorly made. I see that there are now two types of controllers for this tank. The one that looks like the "Knight Rider" Must be the upgrade due to this issue. I am a great customer and never need anything.....This however, I need a new one send quick.

Soooo thin
I dropped the remote on the bed from 8 inches and it cracked the body.
