Heavy and big but worth it for easy setup and spacious room.

I expected it is heavy and indeed it is. It is heavier than my foldable canopy and bigger than my snowboard bag. It certainly takes space in the car. But after first time use (1 night camp w/ heavy rain in the next morning) it turned out to be really worth it. I could setup tent by myself in a few minutes, rain flyer attachment would need two persons. Large entrance at front helped quick entering (no crouching) and loading of camp gears at night. Side window allows ventilation even in a rain (Thanks to the oversized rain flyer!) so it was not too humid inside the tent. Because rain last for a while in the morning, I cooked breakfast in a separate room. He could enjoy sleeping in the next room until breakfast is ready. I also recommend to use foot print ground sheet (purchase separately) for additional enhancements for this tent. First, bottom side of the tent does not get wet or dirt. So easy to fold the tent when you leave. Second, it will smooth out the ground flatness (especially on the little bumpy grasses) so easy to walk with bear foot. Third, your tent (bottom floor) does not get cold because of the additional layer against the ground surface.
