RF mode is a worthwhile upgrade.
Works great. Setting it up for RF mode means you don't have t be in the same room as the box or point directly at the box. So nice!! Just go to the Remote Control programming selection in the Setup menu. Set up the remote to work with your receiver and TV. Then choose Advanced Settings and follow the instructions to put the remote in RF mode. Note: your remote will only work with that specific receiver until you switch it back to IR mode.
