You need a lot of strength
It's very difficult to open and close the pliers. The crimp beads covers don't fit in securely. Once the crimp beads cover is in place, it is extremely difficult to provide enough pressure to actually close the cover. On the positive side, it does a better job (but not great) than I've been able to accomplish on my own, and it's easier for me to tell when the cover is in place.

The Pentels I have now have have a good sized and are much sturdier.

Great for curiosity and exercise!
3 of 3 found this helpful One of my cats loves it! He was hesitant at first because it crackles, but with a few treats and catnip, it soon became his new best friend. He loves to waggle his butt on one of the ends and then tear through another hole. Our other cat, age 14, is much quieter, but she has enjoyed going through it a few times. A wonderful toy! I said that it is of good quality, and it is for the price, but it's on the flimsy side, but it's tough.
