Problem solved

Much more stable sound and performance over a longer period of time with coated strings. Arguably easier under your fingers both strumming and picking. Slightly warmer tones because the coating softens the attack of new strings at the same time as the coating stabilizes tonal characteristics over time.

iRIVER H340 Outstanding portable audio device

Straight drag & drop so you don't need a specific computer or software to get it going(iTunes). Comes up as an external/removable drive and will quite happily carry photos and video files. The colour screen also allows for playback/slideshow of video/photo files. Better sound quality than most of the other media players when it comes to straight audio files. Also capable of recording stereo MPG audio using built in microphone, stereo line level from an audio console or from an external accessory microphone.
