Tedious measurements and cutting.
The threads strip easily so use extreme caution when cutting and installing. Make sure the female threads of each receiving end have been cleaned of all caked on pipe dope. This particular part originally should have been brass with the proper thread at each end. As it turned out, the cuts I had to make did not line up with the blank area between segments.

Looks good and easy to use
Nice heavy design with skid proof bottom pads. Can receive full diameter tape rolls of yesteryear if you can find them. This tape dispenser looks good next to the Swingline 444 stapler.
