Unique Calico Critter family
My niece collected these for years. The Meerkats are one of the most unique families and a very welcome addition to the collection.

Not "basically brand new" as listed, but it does work
The description said "Item has only printed 2 or 3 receipts and is basically brand new".
The printer I received looks like it is several years old. While it works fine, it certainly does not look like a "brand new printer". And since it is not as new as I thought it was, I do wonder how long it will last.
