I had watched the show, and decided I wanted to own the complete series. Now I own it and can watch it whenever I want to. Marvelous.

Mad Max (DVD, 1980, Special Edition) MEL GIBSON

Action, disaster, heartbreak, humor and a young Mel Gibson. It can't get any better mates!!

I saw this movie in 1981 in Germany. Mel Gibson was unknown in the U.S. at that time. Mad Max made him a movie star in every sense of the word. A movie produced on a low budget in Australia became a phenomenon. Watching Mel Gibson in his early 20's, wearing a black leather uniform and defeating the baddies, is a feast for the eyes.
