Good value for a unique piece in my opinion.
This particular coin is relatively rare, beautifully designed, and a nice piece of history. The intricacy of the fine details, such as the scrolling and Arabic, are stellar. It is a valued part of my diverse collection. As an investor in precious metals I always find it nice when the coins I seek are minted from a metal I collect.

Excellent precision crucible
This purchase is to replace another set I dropped, and broke. To me this is a superior casting crucible because of its fineness, ease of use, and ease of handling. They are however fragile. You must preheat them slowly, and raise the temp gradually. Once done you will have the finest crucible material you’ve used. Gold doesn’t stick to it like quartz or silica, and it can be heated from the outside for some metals, unlike graphite or fused silica. The lid is super handy too. Just set it down on the crucible to hold in the heat while you do whatever you may need to do in the middle of smelting. I’m only a novice refiner, but after trying multiple crucible materials, this feels superior to me. I hope you enjoy yours as much as I do mine. Just be careful. It’s delicate.

Perfect fit as usual with these Weaver bases.
I wanted to switch from my rimfire scope, to a reflex sight on my Remington 597 for plinking. First I bought this little bolt on cheap Chinese base, which didn’t work. Then I decided to order one of these. If it takes you longer than 30 minutes to install this base, then you should probably not tinker with your gun, as this is extremely easy, and the holes line up perfectly. I’m glad it came with new screws, because I was able to use the screws from the original base to fill the 3 from the rear sight being removed prior to me buying it. It locked up tight, and I have no doubt it will outlive me. All Weaver bases I’ve installed have been rock solid, even on magnum designated caliber rifles.
