FIRST TIME USE
0 of 1 found this helpful I purchased this as I noted that Chris Harris (BMW GURU on Utube) used this brand. During the first oil change, the BMW filters' rubber seal came off and stayed in the filter cavity..if I hadn't reached up and cleaned the mating surface, I would not have noticed and an oil leak would have been the result. Sometimes I cut open filters to check for debris or quality of the filter ..I did not do this this time so cannot comment. However, when you speak of Harley Davidson...I have to say that Harley's filter is by far better than a Fram or other off-brand. I am giving this 3 stars because of Chris's use, however, the exterior appears to be of quality and I will comment again after cutting open at the next oil change.

60% BATTERY CHARGING ISSUE & INITIAL COMMENTS
I've only had this for several days (wanted to post this' asap' due to the battery issue) and it took 1.5 days to determine the problem with the battery NOT charging...Some units DO NOT have the 'conservation app' installed and that limits the charging to 60%. Go to the Lenovo store/site for a free download, you can then turn conservation mode OFF and the battery should then fully charge.
I almost took this unit back because of this charging issue...Given this, I would suggest that everyone do system and Lenovo updates and look for answers & fixes before..just returning an otherwise, potentially, good computer.
I have not had the time or opportunity to check or function all aspects of this, however my initial comments would be:
Could be better/stronger plastic and framework. As I use it primarily as a stationary item this should not affect me.
If you 'hammer' when you type you will notice keyboard movement (weak chassis)..I do not 'hammer' so it is fine for me. The key-stroke/depth is quite good and comfortable.
Screen is acceptable..NOT 1080, but I rarely game, draft/draw or photoshop,..So it is fine for me.
DVD drive is flimsy/weak so be gentle.
Mouse pad works fine, some would prefer it more 'smooth'...I however, like to 'feel' as I move my fingers...it's fine, although it would be nice to have a on/off switch to avoid swipes while typing.
It is very quiet and fast, however, as it is 'almost new' (open-box) and there is not much running on it yet, this would be understandable.
This is the second 'review' I've tried (the previous one was much better), the first 'hung-up' and was lost when trying to send...guess that would be either the computer, internet or ebay site (windows 10?).
This is a replacement for a 7-8 year old HP that DIED immediately, while REBOOTING from a Microsoft 'update'!!...Thanks Microsoft!!..(may have to switch if this ever happens again!)
So, time will tell if this is a good computer choice, although with what is inside this model I would consider this a 'Best-Buy'.
