Solid performer. Look for RZHAC part number.
Older module design is large, but more than adequate for many applications. The size is such that it will hang past the outlet on one side. So if you want to use both outlets, you muse plug this unit on a specific side. Because of the size, you cannot fit two of these on the same outlet. (See picture) My SmartThings starter kit came with one of these outlets. So naturally it pairs well and works like a charm with SmartThings. NOTE: there are 2 important variations on this plug, and both look identical. The first is the one reviewed here and is the part number ending in RZHAC (R for Relay). This unit has a relay inside and you will hear a distinctive click when it turns on and off. This module will work for motors and other appliances where dimming might damage the device. You can also turn on and off any sort of load with no issues - like LED bulbs. The other model has a part number ending in ZHAC (no R). The other part has a dimming feature which may or may not serve you. The dimmer is silent (no distinctive click for on and off) but in my experience it needs a load that is more than 15 watts or so or maybe it needs to be incandescent. I tried to use it with a dimmable LED lamp, and it kept turning itself on again and again. So, it might serve you if you want to dim an incandescent fixture, but most CFL and LED loads might make you wonder why they're on again. Both part numbers have a convenient pushbutton switch that will turn the outlet on and off manually. Both have a LED status lamp next to the pushbutton switch that lights up when the outlet is on. And for you energy curious folks, both will report the actual load to SmartThings, so you can determine exactly how many watts something is using when it's on.

Instant Bath Modernization
Clean lines. Bold Design. Can't help but think Lucky 7. Includes mounting bolts, but you will need your own single-hole faucet and drain. The overflow has a chrome ring installed.
