Very pleased with results for the cost
1 of 1 found this helpful I'm very pleased with the results of the scans for what this unit cost. The quality of the captured/scanned image is better than what displays on screen in the preview. Most scans are in the 4-5 megabyte size range, and they can easily be edited in standard photo software. I've only tried 35mm slides so far; no idea how negatives or smaller formats perform. Holder is flimsy, awkward to open, but is accurate (and holding up after a few hundred slides). Did discover that portrait oriented shots do better scanned in landscape; otherwise you lose part of the image. Again, software can rotate the scan to correct orientation.
