Good pump but can’t work on a timer.

The pump would be great except that we usually have the pump on a timer so it operates 15 minutes on and 15 minutes off, throughout the day. The plug in for this pump has a ‘reset thing’ so that when our timer shuts off the power, the reset activates and shuts the pump off until the reset button is pressed. So when the timer comes back on 15 minutes later, the pump doesn’t work which defeats the purpose of our timer. Good: it doesn’t leak and is powerful enough for our pool.
