400mmx 18mm Dekton Masonry Drill Bit - HSS
    Apr 12, 2016
    Cheap bit, poor design
The light weight carbide insert hangs out about 2 mm on each side. With nothing to support it and it being so thin, it breaks off and the bit size is reduced to the shank size of 14mm. The tip looks to be inserted in a slot on the end with no leading edge of carbide so that even as a 14mm it is pretty much useless as the steel of the bit prevents the carbide tip from digging into the masonry. I attempted to drill 1 hole in a concrete driveway for the center rod of the gate to drop into... I'm waiting on another bit to finish the job.
    Control Cable 290 641 for MTD 946-0957

    MTD (Safety) Brake Control Cable
Easy install with no tools used. A pair of pliers may have made the old cable removal easier, but we succeeded without them. eBay's "Tell Us More" questions are irrelevant and humorous... "Is it easy to start?" , whoever heard of starting a cable?; or "Is it compact?"... it's a cable... no bigger or smaller than all of them used on lawn mowers. More appropriate questions would be like "Was it easy to install?, or "Did it fit like the original? (yes to both BTW)

    Freightliner Century Chrome Center Piece
I bought this to replace the painted center piece that came with my truck. It was an improvement, but a disappointment. I've had it less than a year and it is rusting badly. The chrome plate is very thin and does not hold up well. It is a good value in that it will allow for accident repair or dressing up to sell the item for much less than the OEM part from Freightliner, but it will not hold up. Is it of good quality? NO. It is CHEAP with a superficial chrome plate that does not withstand use. Had I known of how thin it was plated I would likely have clear coated it before installation. Would I recommend it? Yes, with the advice to clear coat it first... after all, it does look great going by at 70MPH. I have it on an 09 with about 900k miles, less than 100k on this piece. Surprisingly, the big flat area in the front has the least corrosion on it... maybe bug guts prevent rust?
