A Classic
The Explorer 1 Mark 1 has a simple, classic design that is beautiful. For my tastes 39mm is a perfect size for this watch. It fits comfortably on the wrist and the bracelet is second to none.
Some people prefer the Mark 2 edition with the lumed Arabics and that is understandable. The white gold numbers on the Mark 1 can be difficult to read in subdued light.
