Sticks to a cleaned surface.
Peeled off old seal, cleaned surface with alcohol rag, putty knife and bristle brush. Stayed in place during cover installation. Leak checked with water hose and huge rain storm that came through. Worked wonderfully...no leaks.

Little modification required (15 min) with file and hacksaw blade. Easily configured to original equipment dimensions...for $27.00 less than Husky part (total shipping and handling).
