Bigger can also be better
1 of 1 found this helpful Having had the Canon 10x30 IS binoes for a number of years I knew how useful this type of binocular could be. The 10x30's quickly became my goto optical system which includes numerous telescopes. Once I do have a scope set up though I wanted to try a Canon IS system with a bit more light grasp and power to allow me to sweep the sky for galaxies and star clusters. I prefer to find things myself as opposed to using a "goto computer system" on my scopes. This latest CAnon IS 15x50 arrangement seems to give me that added ability that I had hoped they would. The IS system is amazing and takes care of the infamous "binocular shakes" which plague anybody who uses binoes often and for extended lengths of time. The price is steep for these but if you find a set on ebay, buy them.
