Beware of China made after market parts for Harley Davidson
The initial quality of this kit looks good.
The problem is it won't work without modifications
After 50 years experience I should have expected a project with v twin Chinese parts, Ya I'm OLD ! Grumpy and hard to please to..
The bolts (3/8 - 16 x 1/12 are 1/2 inch to short.
Looked around the internet and could not find 2 inch banjo bolts anywhere
There is no possible way you can use this kit as it is. I was told by seller to just use 1 step washer in the kit, even doing that would barely leave 3 threads engaged into the cylinder head and no sealing washers. You need 1/2 inch of thread into the cyl head. approximately 8 threads or risk damage to the aluminum head.
There are no diagrams or instruction sheets available with this kit. I did find what appears to be basically the same kit from Drag that shows 2 steps and 3 sealing washers to be used for installation.
I just picked up some 3/8 - 16 x 2 inch bolts at the hardware store and will attempt to drill them out on my drill press.
If that doesn't work out I will send a couple of bolts to a friend that has a MC machine shop and have him drill them out for me.
Bottom line , measure your OEM equip, ask what the bolt length is supplied with kit before buying.

It works..
It fits properly. The price is ok. As far as quality goes I just installed it yesterday. Time will tell. The original part it replaced lasted almost 20 years..

This computer works great. Better than described. Can't believe it's a refurbished unit. Not a mark on it. Love the back lit key board. It set up smoothly. Excellent price.
