Keeping Up With The Steins
I love the movie, Keeping Up With The Steins. The movie was about a jewish boy wanting his family with him for his bar mitzvah. His dad was distant from his father because he left his mom and him when he was a boy. Benjamin tries to unite his grandfather with his dad. But, when he comes to visit, his dad made him feel unwelcome. All kinds of things happen, his dad finds his father and girl friend in a hot tub naked. Benjamin and his grandfather almost get in a car accident. Even at the bar mitzvah party, both dad and grandfather were arguing so Benjamin jumps into swimming pool to the bottom trying to get them to stop arguing. After rescuing Benjamin, they realize it was silly to hold on to the past. I like the part when they were all dancing and singing at the end of the movie.
The movie was good because it showed the changes of Benjamin and his family.

The Jerk, 26th Anniversary DVD
2 of 2 found this helpful I love the movie The Jerk. This movie is one of Steve Martins best early films.Nathan plays a man who was taken in by a black family as a child. He himself thinks he is black. Then Nathan decides one day to make it on his own. He is really funny as a gas attendant at a gas station. A customer came in to buy gas. He needed his glass adjusted. Nathan invented non-slip glasses. The customer promised Nathan he would give him so money for his invention. In the meanwhile, all kinds of things happen. Someone tried to shoot him at the gas station. So Nathan joined the circus. He meets someone he falls in love with and gets married. The inventor have someone contact Nathan and gave him a check for $250,000 big ones. Nathan becomes rich. Later, he has to give the money back. And becomes poor again. Its a rags to riches and poor again story. I like the musical number, Nathan and the whole family dance around in front of the house. I bought the movie because of the special edition. I would of been more happy if there were more deleted scenes shown and more extras.

3rd Rock from the Sun - Season 6 DVD
I loved watching 3rd Rock from the Sun, because it was a comedy about science fiction family researching the Earth and its people. I found myself laughing out loud at these so-called aliens. This is a hilarious comedy and I now own the entire series on dvd.
I watch a few episodes at least twice a week on TV Land for a good laugh.
The series starred John Lithgow, Kristen Johnson, French Stewart, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Jane Curtin, Simbi Khali, Elmarie Wendel and Wayne Knight.
And guest starred to name a few, Megan Mullally, John Cleese, Richard Belzer, Darrell Hammond, Tracy Morgan, Ana Gasteyer, Elaine Stritch and Elvis Costello.
The last season has all the twists and turns this series is infamous for. So, sad the Big Giant Head orders the bunch departs earth and our TV screens.
