Typical Nanji construction
This is a very lightweight razor, but it can be used to get a decent shave. The main problems are that upon receiving three of them in original boxes, all three needed the 'comb' safety bar adjusted upwards on the right side (on both sides of the razor). Once that was done, it holds a blade adequately. The major problem is that this razor simply isn't built for long term use. I'd recommend it only as a travel razor, where you want something usable, but you may not want to drag the entire razor back home again or risk losing a good one.
It is also not an adjustable razor. This is a standard Twist To Open mechanism, where the only adjustment you can make is to loosen the head slightly to make the blade slightly more aggressive at cutting.

Good starter fountain pen.
This is an excellent basic starter pen. It works well with most inks, leaving a good line behind. I had no problems with the feed or nib once it was flooded with ink. The body is light, thin stainless steel, and the section is just black plastic. The cap seats well onto the body, although it can take some force.

Plastic razor with aluminum handle.
The doors of the head are mild steel, the handle is aluminum, and really the only 'metal' besides the doors themselves. The center bar rises too far above the head, so that obtaining a good angle with the blade is impossible without forcing the bar into your face. This is exacerbated by the twist to open mechanism not compressing the center of the blade enough, so that the edges do not curve down properly. The edges of the blade in this razor also extend out twice the distance of that in a similar Gillette SuperSpeed. All in all, Hong Long is making terrible razors, and they are not good for either a new shaver or an experienced one. It's a plastic razor, not 'silver metal'.
