Great saw but won't hold up
6 of 7 found this helpful I purchased 2 of these chainsaws and they worked like a champ..... until they both no longer work. One just stopped working and still looked brand new and the other one seems like the motor burned up (does dewalt not put overheat protection on this?) If the chainsaw had the longevity that my gas power chainsaws have I would give it 10 stars but neither of my dewalt chainsaws lasted even one season. Just in case you still want one (for light work) the battery last much longer than expected, the chainsaw will rip through large tree trunks, and overall its a fantastic saw, seriously great, when it works......
