1 of 11 found this helpful 1 week into installing into my car (acura) whether it'd be cold or warm outside the remote start keeps turning my car on and off repetitively. I will remote start my car for 5 seconds, the car will shut off then try to turn on again and can stop there or turn off and on again for the next 15 seconds.
Remote does not have at least 1/4 mi of a range. I can be 4 car lengths from the car and it will send the car no signal. I can repetitively press the button and nothing will happen until I am in front of the car, less than 5ft away. I will be at work, about 15 car lengths away from my car, my car will not receive any sort of signal from my remote. Whether it be remote start and simply arming/disarming. It sends the signal when it wants to. Most definitely sends absolutely no signal to car if I'm more than 15 car lengths away.
