Partial components match
Purchased this item in March 2022.
The carburetor does fit mounting holes and looks very close to same shape & type as original, but not an exact OEM replacement. The original had several more ports in main body that this one is missing.
Granted understanding eBay sellers sell aftermarket replacements the carburetor might actually work.
Yet the WX branded CMR5H Spark Plug included was not compatible with the RY252CS Trimmer engine. OEM Spark Plug is/was a TORCH L7RTC. Too small of threaded diameter on the WX Spark Plug- just as reported by another reviewer.
So that part is a waste unless I can use it elsewhere.
The air filter membrane was correct fit.
The balance of components are very generic and sort of hard to screw up.
So one star less for each ding.
If I had cought this earlier I would have returned the package and purchased elsewhere.

Bought it for the battery slide lock
Pulled battery slide lock off and it worked just like before

Great tool, but can be dangerous.
1 of 1 found this helpful It did what it was designed for. However can be a bit dangerous if used in tight situations. Just like a skill saw. it can catch on something and pull the trimmer head away/run out on you.
In my experience while trying to eliminate the stumps of some 1"-2" diameter trees that had grown up near a chain link fence I bumped it against the tree on the wrong approach while spinning and it "took off" & tore a couple of very clean slashes in a chain link fence post. Upon inspection, the cut heads were all in tact an solid and still kept cutting afterward. But the saw did need sharpening as it was not as efficient after the fence pole contact, yet still finished the task and a few dozen more cuts I had started.
Be sure to wear safety gear including safety glasses, heavy pants/jean, and steel toe shoes.
