You almost have to be an expert in at least one difficult field to appreciate the Trump story.
9 of 9 found this helpful This is written in plain English and is full of facts and insights that provide a good foundation for understanding Donald Trump's approach to his profession and his life in general. Good negotiation strategies are what I expected, but it is more like the title, how to make good deals and avoid losing your shirt. Mostly common sense, but very well demonstrated. Extremely high standards, humility with boldness, and a great deal of patience all help explain his success in making good deals, both before and after committing to a big project. (I have seen some of the same in the nuclear power plant business, where true excellence is mandated by law.)
I note that the media "experts" try to use parts of the book against him, but what else is new? Amusing. I doubt that most media folks bother to integrate his views and accomplishments into the definitive man since they are so set on finding flaws in diamonds and ignoring big cracks in lumps of coal.
I did notice that the book was reprinted last year, which means it is even more in demand than before. Just shows that even the book is a continuing money maker!
