Dont suffer with no ice!
This is one of the easiest repairs a person can do. Ten minutes of time to have ice is not going to kill anyone. Just do it.

Not for the faint at heart
This repair kit did exactly what they said it would do. Restore power supply operation on a Panisonic Plasma tv. Lots of screws to get to these chips. They are very small 20 pin packages and smd's located on small daughter boards. So bone up on your soldering skills and have a very small very pointed soldering iron. I used a dremel tool with a very thin cut off disc to cut the leads on the bad ic's. You will also need a way to hold these boards once you remove them from the main power supply board. I used a small "third hand" with alligator clips on it to hold the board. Take your time and you will be able to install these device.
There are also two capacitors that need to be installed. You remove the original and solder in the cap with the negative lead on pin 11 and the positive lead on pin 13.
