OREI 4K HDMI Extender Over CAT6/CAT7 HD POC Transmitter & Receiver (EX-230C)

Works As Advertised

I am using this in a configuration with a 4K HDMI splitter to move the signal from an XBOX X to splitter to living room tv and the OREI extender set. The OREI extender set goes from living room OREI transmitter to CAT 6A -- into the basement and then back out of the basement and into another room -- to OREI receiver -- HDMI to tv. The distance without walls from living room XBOX to other room tv is about 10' (although the actual CAT/HDMI run is larger), which allows the XBOX to be played in either/both rooms. 18+ GBPS HDMI cables and the CAT 6A length allows for the full 4K resolution to play on both 4K-capable tvs. I have not tested the Max distance the transmitter / receiver set can be used but have NO reason to assume that 160+ feet is inaccurate in the manufacturer's description. Likewise, I did not experience ANY latency with the signal, but have previously with other brands of extenders. Note for anyone trying my experiment described above -- the entire signal line must be compatible for the resolution desired; if any part of it is not 4k-capable, expect the resolution to drop to lowest common denominator!
