Not very intelligent and potentially dangerous
17 of 26 found this helpful I bought this because it was supposed to intelligently know the battery type and charge correctly. I wanted to use it specifically for 18650 batteries, but was intrigued that I could also use it for others. Instead, I find that I must select the battery voltage each time and for each battery and if I don't, it defaults to a voltage that is too high and could potentially cause a fire. The two buttons aren't even easy to use. Selecting the individual batteries, and the voltages for each is time consuming and not at all intuitive, which means if I ever lose the instructions, I probably won't even be able to use it. I would not recommend this product. Instead, buy a charger specifically for 18650's if you need one, and a separate NiCad/NiMH charger for your other batteries.
