A great, informative Modeling Magazine!

I never had an issue before I sent a bid on ebay. When I got the back issue in the mail, I was amazed at the Fabulous content, and great pictures Describing model building techniques. I immediately ordered a one year subscription! Tamiya is a great supplier for all our modeling needs!

My first Ship model

I mostly build wooden scale airplanes, and I thought a ship model would be a nice change of pace. Make no mistake about it, this Revell's large Plastic model of old ironsides is definitely not for the beginner. It's a magnificent model with tons of detail. I'm at the point now of starting the basic rigging (having completed all the hull construction with all three masts installed as well. If you get to finish this model it will be both magnificent, and impressive.

A great DO-335 modeling reference.

I’m currently building a Dornier DO-335 Wooden model, and when building any scale model, accurate references are a must. This Valiant book is excellent, and I highly recommend it.
