Works great, definitely an upgrade over the 7 round mags.

The mags cycled through every round without any issues whatsoever, I couldn't ask for it to function any better than that. Worth the money as a replacement, especially for a gun this old.

It's a nice design, but not sure how muc...

It's a nice design, but not sure how much model weight it will support. I find just the alligator clips attached, make the metal rods roll left or right if you have too many attached. Just something to keep in mind.
