Joy of Cooking - yummy
The best cookbook you can own. Simple and tells you what thing mean and how do to cook. This is my second one, wore out the first!

Great flat Iron that makes a curl, too.
I had my first one 7 or so years and it worked like a champ till it didn't one day. They are expensive, but the reason I love this flat iron is that it doesn't pull my hair, even if it is loaded down in hair spray. Glides right through it. Long cord.
If I had wish list for this flat iron that would be an automatic turn off after a couple of hours. Always forgetting if I left it on and have t run back in the house to check it.
